"Eileen II" is one of the most beautiful yachts in the world. She was designed by Alfred Mylne and built on the Clyde for the Glasgow tobacco magnate Robert French, a leading yachtsman of his day. There are only two or three classic yachts of her size in Northern Europe and she is unique in Norwegian waters, where she currently lies. She was perfectly restored to the original condition in 1986 and the following year at the Classic Yacht rally Imperia (Italy) she received the award for the best interpreter of tradition thanks to her largely original interior and deck details. | ||
