A Great Traditional Offshore Cruiser!
“Moccasin” is custom pilothouse version of the venerable Cape George 36 Cutter sailboat. Built by Cecil Lange & Son in the PNW she is has a solid fiberglass hull with a full keel, tiller steering in the cockpit and hydraulic wheel steering in her unique pilothouse. The deck & cabin house is built in wood and have just been inspected, painted & varnished in the summer of 2016. The bottom was painted in the summer of 2015.
“Moccasin” has her original Westerbeke 27HP motor which was rebuilt in 2013 and has only 210 hours since the rebuild. Her original wood mast was replaced in 2015 with a modern aluminum mast, but she still maintains her beautiful varnished wood boom and cutter rigging. The mainsail is a newer Ullman Sails Dacron partially battened sail and the 140% roller furling genoa is in good condition.
