A well maintaned and ready to sail for the new season: Sigma 33 OOD. Or should I say; famous Sigma 33, as it is well know for the excellent sail performance and seaworthiness with sailors around the world. This one in particular is well maintained, is stored on land avery winter and the owner did invest in her during his ownership to this very day and had even installed a new driveshaft in 2017.
For those who don't know, the Sigma 33 is a great boat to sail and is still in an active racingclass for a good reason. They are fast, well build and seaworthy. And as a bonus, they are pretty comfortable as well. So a nice holiday with the family goes just as easy as battling for first place. The practical deck lay out helps, of course, to get the most performance possible out of her but that smart set up helps to enjoy her for a nice holiday as well. The cockpit is spacious and when at anchor or in the marina, just flip up the tiller and you have the entire cockpit to relax. Inside it is the same story, enough beds to house an entire racecrew and anough storage throughout to store their gear. But on a holiday outing, all those beds and storage will hold everything you want take with you on your famliy cruise.
So the question is; is the Sigma the perfect combination for racing and cruising? Of course not. Perfection is just a metter of opinion, I'm sure someone said once. But there is no doubt that everybody will agree that at this price, it sure does tick a lot of boxes! This Sigma 33 in particular is well maintained, has an extensive sailset including a 2016 laminate main, a new engine shaft installed in 2017 and more. The current owner keeps her up-to-date and still sails with her as he has a chance.
