A ready to go 52-foot centre cockpit cutter rigged steel boat, fully equipped for long-distance and blue water sailing.
After about two and a half years at sea this yacht now on our way back to Europe. Currently in Bermuda (May) heading back via the Azores.
The steel yacht is built in Elsinore/Helsingör, Denmark, in accordance with drawings by the Danish yacht designer, Arne Borghegen, and was completed in the mid 90's.
The boat is exceptionally well built and well maintained. Mast, deck and underwater hull were painted in New Zealand in spring 2017.
In 2015 the underwater body was professionally sandblasted and painted with Hempel's two pot epoxy paint. At the same time the entire hull and deck was painted according to Hempel's paint system. The steel hull was ultra sound measured in 2007 with no remarks.
This beautiful yacht has a distinctive red hull and rig and is a head-turner. She is the perfect example of a strong, well maintained blue water cruising yacht that has been successfully sailed two times round the world. First time by a family of four, parents and two kids. She has been fitted and equipped for serious world cruising. Having logged more than 60,000 nautical miles on her journey twice around the globe, she will provide you with safety and sea kindliness for your onward adventures. She carries 900 litres of diesel, 1200 litres of water and together with the water maker ensuring self sufficiency in remote locations for considerable lengths of time.
