The Norfolk Smuggler has a heavy displacement and stable hull with good ballast ratio that provides power under sail. She has plenty of room below with standing headroom on the centreline.
The Smuggler has a gaff cutter rig for excellent sailing performance and easy handling with various sails to reduce when necessary.
She is designed for easy single-handed sailing, but has 4 berths in 1 cabin with a separate heads compartment. With her lifting shoal keel she is capable of being moored on a drying out mooring, or with added legs when living aboard.
