Access to the interior cabin from the bow or the stern is via one of two full-side weather proof doors. Entering from the aft deck, one of the first things you might notice is the flood of daylight which enters the cabin through the many large windows. This boat would make as great of a whale watching vessel as a charter fishing vessel. Two of the windows are sliders, which let in fresh air when you want it. The private enclosed head is immediately to your right and has a hand sink with a spray nozzle. Immediately beyond the head is a small galley with oil stove, refrigerator, and a sizable stainless steel sink connected to 20 gallons of fresh water. Three drawers provide a surprising amount of storage options for a galley of that size. Across the cabin to port is a large, cushioned dinette. The vinyl seating is clean, comfortable and nice-looking. If you need it, at night it can convert to a sleeping berth for two people. Additional seating is located beyond the dinette, where you'll find a forward-facing bench seat with life jacket storage under the seat. The interior helm is located starboard with a cushioned captain s chair with an air-ride style feature and foot railing. The décor is well maintained and very clean. Small classic touches including a rounded ceiling with teak trim create a lovely nautical ambiance to the interior.
A starboard side transom door makes it easy for all passengers to board the vessel from the dock. Non-skid flooring helps with that as well. Whether you re in the bow or in the stern, the deck on Delta Bravo has plenty of room for moving arms, legs, poles, nets, and flopping fish. Overall, this boat is set up to be a fishing machine. There are an abundance of rocket launchers, a bait cleaning station, and a raw water wash down pump. The bait cleaning station also lifts up to reveal a storage area that can be used for multiple purposes, including as a fish and bait box. There is LED deck lighting aft and forward and a davit for loading a life raft or other heavy equipment. If you need to access the engines, you can do so with flush in-deck engine access hatches. The extra special feature of Delta Bravo is its second exterior helm. One helm is in the typical location in the cockpit; however, there is a second helm located off the swim platform, which gives the captain an excellent view of any and all fishing lines extending from the boat. Safety railing surrounding this unique helm keeps the captain safely balanced and aboard the vessel. In the bow, you have yourself a bow lander. This makes beaching and disembarking a breeze and broadens this boat's options for other types of Alaskan recreation.
This Armstrong Catamaran sprints nicely through the water. Powered by two 2006 Volvo Penta D-6 310 horsepower diesel engines, it tops out at about 50 knots and cruises at a faster speed than many other charter boats. This means you and your passengers reach the fishing grounds first, maximizing quality fishing time and trophy catches. This package also comes with a 25 horsepower 2005 Yamaha four-stroke auxiliary engine mounted on an IMC Easy Lift bracket, as well as a Danforth 30 pound anchor with 200 feet of line.
The interior helm has the basic buttons and gauges you expect a boat to have with lots of dash space to add your favorite navigation equipment. Electric windshield wipers keep visibility clear when navigating through inclement weather.
On Delta Bravo, your fishing trips will be as memorable and as comfortable of an experience as possible. An amazing quality about this Armstrong boat is that because it s a catamaran, it reduces the risk of motion sickness by 70 percent from having the double hull. This is perfect for those tummies not used to riding on the sea. With all her unique features, Delta Bravo won't last long on the market.
