CELESTIAL HOPE is a 47m semi-displacement motor yacht built by Heesen Yachts. Her interior is elegant and sophisticated, inspired by the beautiful beach houses of the Hamptons. The open plan reception and dining room on the main deck feature a soft white lacquer finish on the walls and ceiling, combined with a fresh blue and white colour palette.
The main salon dining area consists of comfortable seating centered around a beautifully carved, limed oak table. The lounge are consists of inviting sofas and armchairs upholstered in natural linens, mixed with sumptuous velvets and metallic prints. Above the dining table is a dramatic Murano glass and nickel chandelier, designed especially for CELESTIAL HOPE.
The elegant colours of the reception are brought through into the master bedroom suite with its exquisite dark stained timber furniture inlaid with mother of pearl and nickel detailing to contrast with a pale blue velvet chair and the crisp white bed linen. A working fireplace creates a cosy area, completed by a pair of armchairs.
This full beam master suite has two separate entrances from his and her dressing rooms. Feminine details of crystal panelled doors and an églomisé dressing table top make a clear distinction between the two. Beneath Venetian glass mirrors, a pair of vanity units symmetrically frames a Corian free-standing bath that marks the focal point of the bathroom.
The guest accommodation comprises of four staterooms and a VIP stateroom, each with their own individual colour scheme. With white as the neutral colour base, lilac, cornflower blue and red are introduced as accents to give depth and diversity. The
mouldings design, skirting, architraves and joinery all contribute to a luxurious homely feel.
The architectural detailing of the en-suite bathrooms results in sleek, luxurious spaces, all carefully designed with storage in mind. Each bathroom is made individual through its choice of stunning marble or contemporary Corian and coordinates with the
bedrooms as well as eclectic touches such as carved glass Lalique taps or églomisé framed mirrors.
The walls of the internal staircase are covered in a hand-made metal finish with a beautiful trailing leaves pattern in moulded resin. From one reflective surface to another, the cloakroom is clad in tiny bronze and iridescent mosaics. The overall effect is stunning
and works perfectly with the other shining surfaces of mirror, nickel taps and hammered chrome basin.
The exterior has four sitting and dining areas, and two separate areas for sunbathing, complete with loungers, Jacuzzi and bar. White lacquered furniture is used throughout for a classic, elegant look. Built-in upholstered seats make for practical and
comfortable areas to relax and entertain. Color combinations are pared-down, creating beautiful, calm areas where details are subtly added, through contrast piping and bespoke cushions.
CELESTIAL HOPE was launched on 18 Dec. 2008, as project 14247 by Heesen in Holland. From conceptual idea to realisation the project team was given the task to create a distinctive and superb yacht. As a result she is the winner of the most prestigious Zeus award for Best Motor Yacht in 2010 during World Superyacht Awards in London, as well as winning the award for “Most innovative Interiors“ at the Asia Boating Awards.
