Sure footed through tight turns and in large head, beam and following seas, the combination of the 5.85's high swept bow, aggressive deep V hull and full length lifting strakes, results in it's superior handling characteristics. The solid fiberglass hull features a calculated stringer system comprised of longitudinal and transverse composite stringers. With single and twin outboard power offerings the 5.85 is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 40 mph.
