Description: Beautiful Classic NORTHEAST HARBOR A CLASS

Boat name: "WHIM"

This is not a restoration project, but an opportunity to own a beautiful, ready-to-sail classic yacht. Designed by Boardman, built in 1927 by Rice Brothers. Cypress on oak, bronze fastened, 28 feet on deck, 17 waterline, giving her nice overhangs. Total restoration in 1990 at Maine Maritime Museum. Sheer Strake, coaming, trunk cabin sides, and related restoration work by Newport Yacht Joinery in 2010. Meticulously maintained for the past 22 years by one owner. Excellent condition. Antique buff sails by Hood. She is lovely to sail in breezes from whisper to half-gale.
