INSURANCE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY FERRO CEMENT BOATS.
This is a well cared for boat that is worthy of a new home but no insurance company's will insure cement boats today. The boat has a diesel Panda generator, radar, GPS, VHF, diesel heater, Diesel engine, and the list goes on. It even has air horns that cost over $5000 and a kegerator. If you can buy this boat with no insurance, then call me and you'll get a great deal. If you can find insurance then call and you'll still get a great deal. Please don't call me to verify these facts or ask if you can see the survey (which it has) until you're committed to buying a boat that can't be insured or you managed to find insurance. It's a wonderful boat, that has been cared for by a loving owner.

This trawler was built by the JP Morgan company in Oakville in 1962. It was purchased by the present owner in 2000 and has been lavished with up-grades and additions that make this boat truly special. Yes she is a ferro cement boat. A very experienced shop was tasked with installing an additional piece of equipment on the boat. To do so they had to drill a hole though the hull above the water line. The hull is so strong that the shop broke four drills before being able to locate a drill bit that would withstand the work. It's that strong! This is a professionally built boat (one of five constructed) and it shows. The boat will be surveyed in March 2020 as a matter of routine. The mechanics and marine craftsmen who have worked on the boat over the years are available to answer your questions.
This isn't some light weight production boat. This boat is built to last and has proven herself over the years. As one seasoned professional stated "she's built like a tank, but she handles so well".
The boat is fitted with a British, Bedford diesel engine that is normally aspirated and produces 150 horsepower. Keep the oil changed regularly and pour on the hours. These engines have no end date.
If you're thinking about doing the "loop", consider this boat. She'll do the trip, come back, pick up more crew ,and do it again, and again.
This boat stands proud, looks great with her recent paint, and is the talk of the docks wherever she goes.
The asking price, reflects only a small fraction of the investment, the seller has made in this trawler. There is nothing to do but enjoy the boat.
