Designed and produced as a kit boat the NAJA 30 was designed to provide buyers with a budget friendly cruiser which was capable of being a competitive club racer. Whisstocks Boatyard produced the boat in four different kit stages, each being supplied with a full kit of parts for to complete assembly.
PACERO was built entirely by the yard and used for the 1980 Paris Boatshow. An excellent example of the class she has been extensively refitted during the current ownership. Boasting a re-finished interior, fresh upholstery throughout, hot and cold running water, heating, Raymarine chart plotter and radar; she is presented in a ready to sail condition.

Conceived as a kit boat construction the NAJA was offered by Whisstocks in three different stages of build with full kit of parts leaving the purchasers with only the assembly to complete. PACERO was constructed and finished by the yard themselves for use at the Paris International Boat Show in 1980.
The internal volume below decks is significantly larger than you would expect on a vessel of this size. Comfortable accommodation is provided for a maximum crew of 7. Bulkheads are finished in an off-white satin paint with varnished hardwood trims creating a very modern feel to the bright living space. The upholstery throughout has been replaced during the current ownership.
Description of below decks accommodation from forward:
Forepeak - Two pipe cot single berths in traditional V-berth layout. Berths lift to access bin type stowage lockers beneath. Hull sides painted out in off-white with varnished frames and stringers visible. Light and ventilation provided from opening deck hatch. Access to anchor locker forward.
Heads - Spanning full width of the vessel immediately aft of forepeak. Manual marine toilet to starboard with sink and vanity unit to port. Sink fitted with faucet which doubles as a shower head.
Saloon - Natural light pours into this central living space. Bench settees running the full length of the space port and starboard. Both settees convert to bunks with the settee backs folding up, a trotter box extends the port bunk. Compact pilot berths are provided outboard port and starboard. Centrally mounted saloon table cleverly folds down to create infill section converting port bunk to a double. Storage lockers provided beneath all seating and outboard.
Galley - Port side of companionway. Worktop with fiddle running along aft side. Stainless steel sink set into worktop. Galley stove mounted on gimbals outboard. Top entry cave locker outboard with storage shelves above worktop level. Additional lockers beneath stove and sink.
Nav Station - Starboard side of companionway. Large forward facing chart table fitted with fiddles. Radar, plotter, VHF and switch panel mounted outboard. Storage in table for charts and pilot books.
Quarter Berth - Running aft on starboard side from chart table. Full sized single berth.
The engine is located with in an engine space behind the companionway steps. With the steps removed good access is provided to the front of the engine for routine maintenance.
