Excellent Condition - Low Engine Hours (265)
This one-owner Gulf 29 has been well cared for by her engineer owner. She was sailed regularly for a few years when new, but since then has done minimal voyaging. Yet, her owner has kept her in good shape with regular maintenance attended to. Unfortunately, he has passed away, so the estate is seeking a new skipper for this fine vessel.
This Gulf 29 does not have the inside steering in place, but that does open up the space for easier "living below". The seat at the nav station can be raised to make a table or left down as a cover to the storage compartment beneath. The galley provides a deep sink, with H/C pressure water, a foot pump, and a Kenyon alcohol 2-burner stove that has seen very little use. The main table folds out to a double, or raises for storage against the bulkhead.
Her sails are still stiff and fresh, plus there are 3 additional sails, one being a spinnaker and there is a spinnaker pole. The Universal diesel has just 265 hours and runs quite well. The owner has added an oil change system, with drainage at the bottom of the pan. There are many spares aboard. The Wallas 1400 bulkhead-mount kerosene heater is quite new and a terrific value in a boat like this. At the binnacle, a newer Garmin 840 plotter is found. VHF radio includes DSC. The transom swim step with boarding ladder provides an excellent method for boarding the boat from a dinghy.
And, the slip is readily transferable to a new owner here at the Everett Marina.
Come see this excellent cruising sailboat that fits in a 30' slip!
