There has been a lot of updating to “2nd Mayflower”, make sure you check out the updating list. The vessel does need some cosmetic work on the deck and interior, but it is not as bad as you would think. The vessel would make a great live aboard and she has huge heads for her size and year model. The salon is spacious, and the Galley is a great place to prepare meals and not feel cramp. If you like to perform your own engine maintenance, you will find plenty of room in the engine room to maneuver around the engine.
2nd Mayflower will not be for everyone, but if you don’t mind performing a little sweat equity, you will a very fine sailing vessel. Please contact listing broker for full details.

Beginning forward is the large V-berth guest cabin with hanging locker and drawer storage. The forward head is to starboard and accessed from both the forward cabin and/or the salon. Next aft to port is a hanging locker followed by a straight bench settee. Opposite is an L-shaped settee with a dinette table that folds up against the bulkhead, creating a spacious salon. Storage is outboard and below the settees. Following the salon and to starboard is the U-shaped galley, and opposite is the walk-thru to the engine compartment and aft cabin. Along the walk-thru is a separate ice locker and shelf that doubles as a work bench. Finally, the large aft cabin features an athwart-ship queen berth, shelves, hanging lockers and drawers. The aft head compartment is to starboard and in the forward portion of the cabin, adjacent to the aft companionway ladder. Storage is quite abundant throughout the spacious and very comfortable interior.
The functional and well designed U-shaped galley is at the base of the companionway and to starboard. Equipped with spacious counter tops for meal preparation while underway or dockside.
Wired for complete 12dc and 120Vac systems with breaker panel and breakers, rotary battery switch. Shore power is 30 amp service. 12Vdc lighting throughout the interior, numerous 12Vac and 120Vac outlets.
The Morgan 416 is the final evolution of the Out Island series, and the 416 is regarded by many to be the best performing of them all, attributed to the sail-plan. The main mast of the 416 is a double spreader, keel stepped rig and the mizzen is deck stepped. The slotted aluminum toe rail offers infinite sheet lead positions for the headsail, block attachments, etc.
The Morgan 416 hull is hand laid, solid fiberglass with an internally ballasted full keel and keel attached rudder. The deck is cored in no-load areas, solid fiberglass otherwise. The hull to deck joint is an internal hull flange, then the deck is thru-bolted and a slotted aluminum toe rail attached. A molded rub strake with s/s rub-rail aids in protecting the hull.
