Bill Shaw designed the Pearson 31-2 with a wing keel, spacious interior and ample sail area with a powerful rig. This boat has sailed well for the owners for a dozen years. In return, these experienced, knowledgeable mariners have kept her very well-maintained.
Sails are from 2008. Each has been refurbished (stitching and panel replacement as needed) by Sailcare at least once during the owners time with the boat and are in good condition. She comes with two Genoas – (1) 140% & (1) 150%.
Original Engine: Fuel filters changed bi-annually and water pump impeller replacement with annual belt replacement and oil change. Cabin flooring was re-done in 2010. Standing rigging replaced in fall of 2011. Masthead tricolor was added and masthead sheaves replaced in the fall of 2011. Lifelines replaced in 2013. Cabin AC replaced 2014. Water pump replaced Fall 2016. Electric head installed fall 2017. Bottom Job April 2017 with quarterly cleanings since.

The forward V-berth cabin with head and shower starboard side aft of V-berth cabin. The main salon with a port settee, starboard dinette seat. The galley port side aft of the main salon. The navigation station starboard side aft in the main salon & one starboard quarter berth below the cockpit. She sleeps 7.
