55' Tayana 55 '87 "New Horizons"
Ta Yang Yacht Building Co has been dedicated to producing some of the finest and most advanced cruising yachts available and with that spirit in mind, they commissioned the Dutch naval architect, Pieter Beeldsnijder, to design this fast, beautiful 55-footer that could still be easily sailed by two people. He exceeded all sailing expectations and also provided an array of interior layouts not often seen in vessels of this quality. Does the layout suit your needs? Make an appointment to find out!
Chain locker forward followed by a large sail storage locker accessible through a deck hatch. Next aft is the owner’s stateroom which features a centerline queen berth with ample drawers and closets and an enclosed head with shower.
Moving aft to port is a guest stateroom also with enclosed head and shower while to starboard is a settee/berth followed by the walk thru to the main salon.
The main salon features a large U-shaped dinette aft, an L-shaped galley to port and chart table/navigation center to starboard.
The engine is located directly under the cockpit aft of the companionway steps and there is a workbench to port of the engine which is easily accessible from a cockpit seat hatch.
