Entering the cabin you can tell that this boat has been meticulously maintained. The interior is finished primarily in Teak and is in fabulous condition. A large L-Shaped galley is on the port side. There is a two burner gimbaled Galley Maid stove with oven and broiler. A double top opening refrigerator/freezer is in the corner allowing plenty of counter space to the right of the stove. Galley storage cabinets line the back of the counter. Starboard of the refrigerator are two deep stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water and a manual foot pump. There are two opening ports and two hatches in the galley. All ports and hatches throughout the boat have screens.
A sit down navigation station is directly behind the galley on the port side. The chart table lifts up with storage underneath. A goose-neck reading light is mounted aft for light while working. Above the table are the displays for electronics and navigation. The electrical panel is mounted on the aft bulkhead with 12v plug mounted below.
The engine is aft of the companionway ladder beneath the cockpit. The fuel and water tanks are under the Teak and Holly cabin sole.
The salon features a bulkhead mounted fold-down table with shelving for plates and glasses. There is an L-Shaped settee on the port side that also slides out converting to a double bed. The starboard settee has seating for four. Both settees have storage behind the seat backs, underneath and shelving above. The table extends to reach both settees. The water systems are below the starboard seats. There are Teak grab rails above to port and starboard of the main salon.
An aft head is on the starboard side with sink and shower. There is a second door opening to the aft cabin. The vanity has storage behind and underneath. A Teak framed mirror is also mounted on the bulkhead. There is an opening port and hatch for ventilation.
Aft of the head on the starboard side is the aft-cabin with a double pilot berth. All compartments have doors for privacy. There is a large storage cabinet and room under the bunk to stow your gear. A reading light is mounted above the berth and a 12v plug by the shelf. This cabin also has a small opening hatch and port.
Just forward of the main salon is the master stateroom with a spacious Pullman bed on the port side. Under the bunk are three large drawers, two separate cabinets with shelving and additional storage. Teak shelving lines the hull side above the bed. An extra large cedar-lined locker is opposite with a standing desk, mirror, and storage under and behind. There are two large brass reading lamps over the bed and two hurricane lamps on the bulkheads. The stateroom has three opening ports and an opening hatch with a screen. A Teak grab rail is over the desk. The forepeak contains a head compartment with separate shower stall with seat. A large vanity faces aft with a mirror and a large shelf for storage. There is an opening port and hatch.
Located along the port side aft section of the main cabin, the galley features ample food preparation and storage space to please the onboard chef.
Panels are located along the aft bulkhead of the navigation station and all within easy reach.
Ample engine compartment access through the companionway and panels on port and starboard sides.
A rare brokerage offering that does not come onto the brokerage market often. A smaller version of the popular Caliber 40, the Caliber 38 checks all the boxes for a comfortable live aboard or cruising sail boat. The owner’s change of plans dictates the sale.
