Gypsea is a classic, head turning, Halvorsen Raised Pilothouse trawler.

Her wonderful interior layout has great flow and easy access. Her interior stairway allows older sailors and their dogs, or parents for that matter, to access to the flying bridge, without climbing ladders. There is also a ladder access to the flying bridge from the cockpit should that be easier to use.
She has a washer dryer, newer navigation equipment, updates to her systems, and best of all, her engineer owner has gone thru the boat stem to stern, ironing out some of the details plaguing many other yachts.
She has had two substantial re-conditioning's, each focused on different systems and components. In 2013, she had a full paint job, both the hull and decks and cabin house. Her striking blue topsides, combined with shiny white deck paint makes for a compelling combination for any boater.

With a large flying bridge, GYPSEA can entertain most of your friends - at least those worth inviting, Just as compelling is the how to part of getting to the bridge. With her outstanding, purposefully designed access from one level to another, those with weakening knees, or other digits for that matter, may easily access between the lower and upper levels of the yacht. This can be the difference between happiness and the evil alternative, misery. GYPSEA is designed for happiness and ease, just in case I was not clear. Going from Pilothouse to Flying bridge is via stairs.

GYPSEA is one of the best laid out trawlers built in her time. Her custom joinery work gives the feeling of a real nautical home and her numerous convenient features add up to make for a superb liveaboard cruising vessel. Her storage is epic, she has all the possible conveniences one could or would want in a yacht, and better than all of that, her owners have added and refined many of her systems, for their liking, augmenting the safety, luxury features important to us all.

Hull is solid FRP with stringers and floor system. Deck is also solid FRP with plywood coring, teak deck overlay in cockpit, weather decks and helm areas of flying bridge.
