This 1996 X-Yachts X-332 has been well maintained and comes with a Yanmar 18HP diesel engine, twin groove forestay, six berths, hot water and more! Her extensive sail wardrobe includes a 2014 Hyde Sails Grand Prix main sail and 150% Nº 1 genoa plus older but still functional sails. In her current ownership "Hoodlum" has cruised the Scottish west coast extensively and has competed successfully in a number of Club and Clyde based races. The X-332 was introduced in late 1994 and boasts an easily handled (no runners) but powerful fractional rig, a smooth S-drive engine and a high quality, spacious interior with facilities designed to satisfy the cruising family. The X-332's interior is made to the highest level of craftsmanship. The marine grade plywood is Khaya mahogany with three layers of lacquer with light sanding in between, to obtain a silkmat surface.

Typical X-Yachts features such as the foam cored hull, hot galvanised steel bottom frame taking the loads from all the keel bolts and mast step, tapered aluminium rudder stock with low friction needle bearings, excellent weight concentration around the middle of the yacht, a strong stiff mast section, discontinuous rod rigging, and composite interior bulkheads all work together to produce an outstanding sailing performance. Hull and deck are built of hand-laid fibreglass in sandwich construction with hard compressed Divinycell foam 20 -15 mm thickness. Solid laminate in connection with deck fittings, around keel bottom girder and rudder attachment, and by all through-hull fittings - Hull and deck are joint with special fiberglass glue and reinforced through the bolted alloy toerail for every 100 mm
The upper part is cast iron 450 kg, the lower part is antimony hardened lead 1,100 kg, this combination provides a low weight centre, the keel is attached with 10 stainless steel bolts
