Broker's Notes: Carver has been an industry leader when it comes to Aft Cabin design. This 406 is a fine example of Carver's ability to create a functional interior while maintaining a stylish exterior. Known as the "405" in 1997 & 1998, Carver made a few changes and improvements in 1999 when she became the "406".
Powered by Cummins. Many of these were built with gas motors as with a large number of vessels this size. "Annie Time" was ordered with the optional Cummins Diesel 370hp engines that included a Kohler 9kw. diesel generator. Diesel engines are known for their longevity and greater fuel economy along with several other benefits.
One of the features of this design I really like is the spacious galley with a large dinette. So often a dinette is an overlooked component in vessels this size and to have one next to the galley is a huge plus. "Anne Time" has a complete galley with an upright refrigerator/freezer, 3 burner range with oven, Microwave, and cabinetry both overhead and under counter. The dinette will convert to sleep 2 and has it's share of storage under the seating.
A plus with an aft cabin is the privacy between the 2 staterooms. The master quarters are located aft while the guest quarters are all the way forward. Both staterooms and heads have solid lockable doors.
Have children or pets? The aft deck is secured with closable wing doors limiting access to the side decks and a solid transom door closing off access to the swim deck. There are no ladders on deck, only molded steps.
The owners of "Annie Time" have had her for 10 years now and are looking to change up their boating style.

With more than 100 square feet of aft deck space, and the available aft deck wetbar and icemaker, the Carver 406 Motor Yacht is well-optioned for fun in the sun. Whether fully equipped with the enclosures or with the optional aft deck hardtop and arch, owners will notice there's plenty of room to roam topside. As roomy below as it is above, the 406's salon includes an L-shaped Flexsteel sofa with double incliners and a love seat. There's an adjacent entertainment center with a TV and a VCR, and even an optional home rack stereo system with its receiver, dual cassette, and CD player. Aft, the 406 features a magnificent stateroom that includes an oversized queen berth, inner-spring mattress, abundant storage space, a large hanging locker and plenty of walk-around room. Add the convertible dinette, salon sofa bed, and a comfortable forward stateroom, and the 406 can easily accommodate a party of seven.
Interior
*The master quarters are located aft with private head. Dresser drawers and double sized hanging locker provides plenty of storage. The Master head is equipped with a separate shower stall, molded vanity, and vacuflush head.
*Guest Quarters are forward and down providing maximum privacy from the master. The guests stateroom has a solid privacy door, hanging locker, and open-able deck hatch.
*The guest head is conveniently located next to the forward stateroom and is equipped with a vacuflush head, molded vanity w/shower.
*The galley and dinette are located on the same level and just forward and down from the salon. The galley is complete with an upright refrigerator, molded counter-top with a deep sink, 3 burner range with oven, microwave oven, and ample storage in overhead and under counter cabinets. The U-shaped dinette will seat 4 to 6 and convert to sleep two.
*The Salon is surrounded with large windows. An L-shaped Flexsteel lounge is to port facing the flat-screen TV and optional swivel chair.

Exterior
Board this 406 from the swim platform and you'll find molded stairs with handrail leading up to the aft deck. Wing-doors lead way to the side decks and a solid door closes off the stairs to the swim platform. Here you'll find a wet bar with ice maker along with storage. Again molded steps lead to the bridge deck with a second set for the captain. This allows the passengers to come and go to the bridge without unseating the captain. Removable carpeting for the bridge and aft deck were recently upgraded along with the bimini top, and bridge upholstery.
Side decks are wide making ease of forward deck access. The windlass is neatly concealed to prevent tripping on anchoring gear.
