Skye 1 is equipped for extended cruising in comfort, safety and style. The Owners have cruised her offshore, the east coast of the United States, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.
Built in France by Jeanneau Newco and imported new into the United States in 2000. She holds CE Classification, Class A - ^In the Open Sea^ defined by Jeanneau as "boat designed for long trips, during which the wind may exceed 8 on the Beaufort Scale and the waves exceed 4 m significant height. To a large extent these boats are self-sufficient for these types of trips."

Skye is Jeanneau's Yacht Owners version of the Sun Odyssey 45.2 with the 3 cabin, 2 head layout: Master cabin located forward and 2 separate aft cabins. 12 Volt fans installed in all cabins.
The Master cabin boasts a center line queen berth, hanging locker, cabinets, and vanity with mirror and pullout stool. Ventilation and natural lighting is provided by 4 opening hatches and 2 ports. The master en-suite head with shower and teak grate floor is on the starboard side.
The spacious main salon houses a large U-shaped dinette that seats 6, with a center-line settee bench that seats 2. Dinette cushions re-upholstered in 2019 in 'Skye' blue. The teak table is permanently fixed with 2 large opening leaves and 4 drawers underneath. Dinette is located on the starboard; opposite is the galley that runs along the port side.
Twin Queen size aft cabins are located port & starboard with hanging lockers and storage cabinets. New upholstery in 2019. Ventilation and natural lighting is provided by 3 opening hatches and 1 port.
The second head equipped with a shower is located at the base of the companionway steps to port.
Navigation Station: if nothing else entices you, the Nav. station should! It is located at the base of the companionway steps to starboard and is off set slightly which offers comfortable and secure seating on either tack. The desk provides a large work area for navigation and communication.

The port side Galley offers a gimballed 4 burner Force Ten stove with oven, a Frigoboat refrigerator with top loading and front access, evaporator and compressor new 2018, Seafrost top loading freezer installed 2016. Fridge and freezer each have their own digital thermostat. Double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water. Lots of storage and counter space.
Galley comes complete with dishes, flatware, pots and pans: fully found.
