Manufacturer Provided Description
Based on the highly successful Beneteau 473 and designed by renowned naval architects Berret / Racoupeau Yacht Design, the Beneteau 393 is a unique 39-foot passagemaker that answers the long awaited quest for a serious bluewater cruiser. Roomier, more spacious, and boasting some of the best accommodations to be found, the 393 will be sure to please the most scrupulous of sailors.
Entering from the spacious cockpit via the companionway the U-shaped, well equipped galley is situated to port. To starboard is the aft stateroom, comprising a queen size berth, hanging locker and other storage, with the full aft head adjacent. As we move forward on the portside we find the U-shaped (convertible) dinette with bench seat opposite - combined will seat at least six in comfort - all in luxurious ultrasuede upholstery. Across on the starboard side is the forward-facing nav station and beautifully crafted cabinetry units in rich varnished mahogany. Beyond is the forward stateroom with a large Pullman berth to port and a small settee/dressing seat and hanging locker opposite, then the private forward head is located in the forepeak.
Plentiful light and ventilation is provided by the coach roof hatches, skylights and ports, all with shades. There is abundant storage throughout. The interior wood is of best quality mahogany with high luster varnish and imparts a rich, warm aspect to the entire space.
