Boarding Platinum Lady is made easy by stepping onto her wide teak laid swim platform. There are curved teak steps leading up to the spacious aft deck on either side of the transom. Once up on the aft deck, there is a built –in settee fronted by a curved dinette table. Forward, is a handsome curved sliding glass door that opens to the salon. To port an L-shaped sofa fronted by an electric high low table. Across to starboard are two club chairs separated by an end table with storage. Behind, a built-in TV cabinet with a pop up TV.
Continue forward and you will find the U-shaped galley with granite counter tops to port. To starboard a full size GE stainless steel refrigerator freezer. Further forward and still to starboard is a cruising settee fronted by a dinette table and then the lower helm station and Stidd helm chair.
The lower level cabins are reached via a carpeted curved stairway as you pass by the port side aircraft style pilothouse door. Once below, the VIP cabin with it’s pedestal queen berth is all the way forward. Aft and to starboard is the guest cabin with side by side twin berths. Across the companionway is the shared guest head. Located aft and mid-ships is the spacious full beam master stateroom with it’s ensuite head.
Back up and on the aft deck, the expansive flybridge is accessed via a built –in stair case with teak steps. Here you will find one on the largest and full functional bridge decks in this size range complete with seating and lounging for ten with BBQ, refrigeration and dinette.
On the 62 Horizon most systems are redundant 24V DC and 110/220V AC. Engine room lights are 24V DC and 110V AC. Water pumps are the same. Engine room blowers (4) are, again, 24V DC and 220V AC.
There are teak decks aft, stairs down and up from the Cal-deck, and teak side decks. The aft Cal-deck is great for outdoor entertaining and alfresco dining. The bridge deck also has a nice table for covered dining with a sky-view. The BBQ on the bridge features a Jenn-aire style down draft for smoke evacuation. The bow has a large sun pad big enough for 2 or 3 and has a small settee, just right for 2, forward.
