Additional Description
The layout of the 4700 catamaran provides for four double cabins, four heads, four showers, a very large saloon and a large galley in the bridge deck. The saloon table converts to provide an additional double bed.
The high-quality interior is carefully blended to make use of the qualities of wood, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and Corian, neatly trimmed with matching upholstery.
The cabin sole is of durable, low maintenance teak and holly composite floor panels.
The headliner is neatly finished.
The 4700 is fully air-conditioned with reverse cycle air with reverse cycle A/C. One 17,000BTU unit for the main saloon and one 10000BTU unit in each hull for forward and aft stateroom.

Additional Description
The hulls are of GRP construction with balsa core for strength, stiffness and insulation, using high quality materials. The hulls carry a comprehensive limited osmosis warranty from Robertson & Caine.

An exceptionally shallow draft of 4ft 1 in/1.25 m is achieved.
The keels are designed and built as sacrificial units in the event of severe grounding. The keels can be replaced without hauling the boat, a great advantage for a multihull.
The hulls have fixed skegs that protect the rudders. They also offer excellent attachment points for the rudder shafts.
The rudders are composite with a stainless steel shaft.
The prop shafts are supported by a solid skeg. This offers better protection for the shafts.
Both deck and hull are finished in white gel coat with the trademark Moorings striping and graphics.

The deck has a molded-in non-skid pattern providing excellent traction even in the most severe conditions.
The wide aft platform allows easy access to the boat and connects both swim platforms.
The anchor deployment and retrieval system have been fine-tuned to a detail not seen before. The large windlass, remotely controlled by hand, can also be used to raise the mainsail.
There is a hatch at the anchor roller to allow easy attachment of the bridle.
