Alexander Marine Australia is pleased to present the 2008 Choey Lee Serenity 68ft long range full displacement motor yacht 'Exile' to the market as worldwide central agents.

From the moment you lay eyes on 'Exile', you will observe she is a high volume and immensely capable full displacement motor yacht perfectly adapted to long range cruising around Australia or beyond. The quality of her engineering is assured as a function of Cheoy Lee's almost 150 year history with a focus on commercial vessels.

First owned for a short period of time by a South Australian who decided to upgrade to a larger Cheoy Lee motor yacht, ‘Exile’ was purchased with limited use and low hours and has been lavished with constant upgrades by her second and current owner.

Entry up onto the cockpit is via a teak treaded curved staircase from the swim platform or from side access gates to both port and starboard.  Up in the teak laid cockpit, a curved fixed bench seat is installed from the centre out to the portside and is complimented by a high gloss teak table. Additional loose deck chairs are positioned to accommodate further guests. The entire cockpit is protected from the elements by way of the hardtop overhang and mesh breezeaway covers provide a further element of weather/bug protection or privacy and completely enclose the aft of the cockpit.

Further up the side decks you approach 'Exile's' Portuguese bridge which is designed to shed any green water quickly overboard when underway. The foredeck itself includes two forward facing bench seats to port and starboard each with comfortable upholstery and a small table - a perfect spot in which to enjoy sundowners. Her tough "ship like" anchoring equipment dominates the very front of the foredeck - dual vertical windlasses are connected to sizable chain and a pair of kedge pocket anchors nest into the custom made bow stainless steel anchor fascia. The anchoring equipment is all heavy duty stuff! Entering the saloon is done so via an s/s framed sliding glass door - which can be pinned at various positions to allow controlled natural ventilation. Her gloss teak interior timber finishes are both attractive and timeless and the quality of her joinery throughout is to a very high standard. She shows very little wear.

'Exile's' galley is spacious and well equipped featuring granite benchtops, an upright full height fridge/freezer, garbage compactor, Bosch appliances and lots of cupboard storage. Guest accommodation on board 'Exile' is segregated into the bow and stern - providing maximum separation and privacy. 'Exile' offers an impressive 4 cabin and 4 head accommodation layout - with each head having a separate shower stall. As you arrive down into the aft foyer landing - which features a lovely inlaid floor feature and an illuminated wall art installation - you have the option of turning to starboard to the master cabin, spacious head and spa bath or turning to port to a guest stateroom and walk in robe. Her bathrooms throughout feature marble tiled floors and the bathroom benchtops are all stone. Both aft cabins feature portholes for light and ventilation and there is emergency access from the master cabin walk-in robe into the engine room via a watertight door. 'Exile' is also configured with a closed bulkhead pilothouse so the boat can safely operate 24/7 while the crew can maintain normal use of the galley and saloon. Her navigation equipment includes the very latest dual Raymarine Axiom touch screen electronics, Raymarine radar, FLIR night vision camera and an Interphase forward facing sonar. Entry up to the spacious flybridge is via a staircase to port from opposite the galley, immediately aft of the pilothouse bulkhead. The flybridge is enclosed with clears to three sides and the centreline helm station is equipped with a full complement of electronics and features dual helm seats providing a great view for the skipper and navigator. An L-shaped settee and high gloss teak table make this a wonderful area in which to entertain guests - with a great view! To starboard opposite the settee you will observe a fly bridge granite topped wet bar complete with sink, Miele grill, storage and a drinks fridge. A Weber BBQ is rail mounted just aft of where the hardtop finishes. Entry to the full height stand-up engine room is via a substantial watertight door. The engine room is well laid out and features a matching set of Onan Gensets against the forward bulkhead as soon as you enter the space. 'Exile's' ever reliable Cat C-7's are spaced well apart to permit the centreline installation of stacked batteries (the house batteries are as new). Other notable equipment includes access to her Naiad stabilizer heads, a fuel polishing system, air conditioning equipment, hot water service, duplicated battery charging equipment, inverter, solar installation regulator, supersize fire suppression bottle (its clear Cheoy Lee build big boats as you look at the engine room installation onboard 'Exile'!) and lastly her fuel transfer pump and manifold. Outboard of each engine you will note two of her five fuel tanks for a total fuel volume of approx. 8000 litres. In summary her engineering and systems are to a very high standard, are easily serviceable, and should give her next owner great confidence in steaming off to remote locations. Whether it be Sydney Harbour, the Kimberley, or the Fiji Islands, 'Exile' will take her new owner to whatever location they desire in comfort, safety and style. She is smooth, quiet and fuel efficient underway. She is an Australian Registered Ship in preparation for leaving Australian Waters should her new owner wish to take advantage of her capabilities. Inspection by appointment highly recommended and will not disappoint. Lying Hamilton Island.
