The large cockpit of this yacht is situated on the same level as the galley and salon, and is covered in teak planking. This area includes a transom grill and refrigerator/freezer, dual walkways aft to the integral swim platform, and access to the engine room and lazarette.
From the spacious cockpit, sliding glass doors lead from the cockpit to a starboard side aft U-shaped galley and spacious salon area forward. The aft deck sliding doors open to port or starboard allowing traffic to flow as needed. The galley is fully equipped and central to the cockpit, bridge stairs, and salon. Moving forward, the salon is light and open with glass on all four sides. It features 2 separate settees, dining table, entertainment systems, as well as a starboard side door to access the foredeck.
One of the unique features of the Maritimo is the interior stairs to the enclosed bridge/skylounge. The enclosed bridge, with reverse cycle air conditioning, allows for the family and guests to cruise together in comfort and quiet. There is great visibility all around plus opening windows and an overhead hatch. The bridge helm has full electronics and two Stidd seats. For guests, the upper salon is equipped with a settee and table, refrigerator and wet bar, and television. There is a wonderful Juliet balcony, or “back porch”, off the aft bridge, accessed via a glass door. Another engine control is situated here as well.
Continue forward and down from the salon to the master stateroom to port with island berth, ensuite head and stall shower. The additional VIP guest stateroom is located all the way forward with a centered queen sized bed and includes a private entrance to the guest head. This head and stall shower is shared with the third guest stateroom, with double bunks which lies aft to starboard. There are overhead hatches in each stateroom and each head.
The foredeck is home to the davit and dinghy and appropriate anchoring equipment. It is accessed via wide secure side decks with high bulwarks and stainless railing.
The aft galley with sliding glass doors to the cockpit is ideal for entertaining and cruising. Located between the cockpit and the salon, at the base of the internal stairs to the enclosed bridge, the galley is in the center of everything happening on the boat. It is positioned to serve forward to the dinette, aft to the cockpit or up the stairs to the bridge. It is well equipped and easy to use. The storage area under the stairs houses the icemaker and bar amenities.
The salon is the main interior entertainment area with the open galley at the aft end. There are windows and doors all around for nearly 360 degree visibility. The beautiful satin finish myrtle wood cabinetry and trim and the Ultraleather upholstery create a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are two L-shaped settees with storage under providing comfortable seating for eight. The starboard side settee also has a triangular shaped table that folds out for dining with seating for four. Entertainment is provided by a Bose Surround System and pop-up flat screen TV. Bar amenities include glass and bottle storage plus an icemaker.
There is sliding side entry door forward to starboard providing easy access to the foredeck and with a custom storage compartment next to it. The aft sliding doors open up the saloon deck to the aft cockpit for even more entertainment space. Opening side windows, a door forward to the side deck on the starboard side, and sliding glass doors aft allow the breezes to flow through when the weather permits.
Even after a long passage in rough weather, you will arrive feeling fresh and relaxed after a day at the helm in the fully enclosed heated and cooled fly bridge with matching captain and mate Stidd seats. You won’t lack for company in this bridge salon equipped with settee, table, refrigeration and television. Three opening windows, a sliding door to the aft balcony and hatch overhead offer plenty of options for fresh air.
Through the enclosed bridge sliding glass doors, the upper aft deck will be your private balcony for you to relax and look out on the world around you, whether for coffee to watch the sunrise or your favorite beverage at sunset.
The helm is full equipped with instrumentation, gauges and electronics within easy reach.
Master stateroom is amidships to port with an in suite head and shower. The queen size bed is flanked by end tables with storage lockers overhead and out board. There are more storage and drawers beneath the bed which lifts on gas struts. There is also a hanging closet.
This stateroom is forward with a center line berth with storage drawers under the foot and two lockers outboard plus two hanging lockers. There is in suite access to the guest head and shower.
This stateroom is to starboard and has over under twin beds with storage drawers under the lower bunk. The washer/dryer combo unit is in a Locker.
Each head has a glass enclosed shower and the following:
The Maritimo lifestyle begins as soon as you step into the large secure cockpit. Sliding glass doors open directly into the aft galley and there is plenty of room for outdoor furniture. Built into the transom is an electric BBQ and sink with a large hinged lid as well as a large insulated freezer box that can be controlled to use as a refrigerator or freezer. This cockpit is not just for catching fish, it’s great for cooking them too! Starboard and port transom doors lead to the large swim platform.
The engine room is accessed through a hatch in the cockpit. There is excellent access around both engines. Filtered air intakes through the cabin house rather than the hull sides dramatically reduce salt air in the engine room and results in reduced corrosion of all metal parts throughout the engine room. The single fiberglass fuel tank forms a structural water tight bulkhead forward in the engine room. Located on the center of buoyancy, the fuel level does not affect the trim of the vessel.
The AC and DC panels and all battery switches are conveniently located just inside the salon sliding doors on the port side at the base of the internal stairs to the enclosed bridge. The DC ships service is 24 volts. There are two 110v circuits powered by the 220v 50 Amp shore cord on a Glendenning cord reel or the Generators. The inverter and dedicated batteries provide AC power to engine room lights and outlets in each head and the galley.

From its ingenious design and thoughtful engineering to the swathe of lavish appointments from the water up, everything aboard the Maritimo 52 has been designed with one thing in mind - long-range luxury cruising. However, entertaining family and friends also comes naturally. On the main deck, rear doors slide right open to expose the cockpit, island barbecue and access to the swim platform while the flybridge is capable of accommodating as many guests as the salon - and has its own balcony. On a Maritimo, performance is also part of the entertainment. Open the throttle and the 52 eases quickly up to cruising speed. With engines positioned forward to give the shafts a minimal 9 degree entry, the five bladed props can attack the water at the most efficient angle. The variable dead rise hull ensures the transition to planing speed is effortless and the combined set-up delivers poise, balance and unrivaled fuel efficiency.
