Owners Comments "SeaQuester has been one of the best decisions of my life. My wife and I have cruised on her for the last eight years from Florida, the Bahamas and every country from here to Grenada. We never imaged the fun and adventure we would have. While all the places were absolutely amazing, the people we met and friends we made along the way were the best. I love my boat! We have tried our best to take care of her and she has taken care of us. There is no other boat or model I would rather have than the 2008 owners version Leopard 46 (Including all the new ones). During each of the many 1,000+ mile sailed, she performed excellently. Without exception everyone has been blessed on SeaQuester. We are leaving the boat fully equipped to head out to her next owners destinations. It is with a heavy heart we leave her. I am hopeful she finds a new owner that loves her as much as we do!!"
This “owners version” features a huge master suite in starboard hull, a full walk-in shower, washer/dryer, office w/desk, sliding privacy door, queen bed, flatscreen TV with DVD, and independent air conditioning make this an outstanding layout. Completely outfitted for diving, including Hookah system with 3-90' hoses and custom external storage for dive tanks.
The port hull features two large staterooms as well as an additional crew berth in the bow. The aft stateroom has a full head with toilet, sink and separate shower. The forward stateroom has a toilet, sink and separate shower. Both staterooms have large hatches for ventilation and light, as well as ample shelves, under-bed lockers and hanging lockers for storage. The port hull has separate air conditioning.
The saloon includes a large, forward-facing nav station with redundant navigation controls: VHF, autopilot, external hailing, Icom M802 SSB radio, Irridium sat phone, Sony stereo with Sirius satellite system, and USB charging outlets.
The galley has a double stainless steel sink, Force 10 propane stove with oven, fresh water filter system, Corian countertops, LED lighting throughout, separate 12v fridge and freezer, and lots of storage.
There is ample room for eight people at the salon table. The table drops down to form an additional double berth (cushions stored onboard), and lounging area to read or watch movies on the flatscreen TV. The saloon has it’s own dedicated air conditioning system.
There are two Yanmar 54hp 4JH3E 4-cylinder diesel engines. Each motor has a 90 amp alternator for charging the separate 600aH LifeLine start batteries, and additional Balmar 130 amp alternators and charge regulators for charging the house batteries. The Yanmar SD-50 saildrives are equipped with 3-blade feathering props for less drag when sailing.
SeaQuester carries 160 gallons of fuel (two aluminum tanks), 200 gallons of water (two roto-molded plastic tanks), and 3 X 24-gallon holding tanks (for waste).
All energy use and battery performance is easily adjusted and monitored through the digital Maretron and Mastervolt controls at the Nav station. Between the 1,060 watts of solar panels and oversized alternator, there is ample energy with minimal use of the Northern Lights 9KW Genset, if desired.
There are manuals for the systems, instruments and devices on board, including the original 110-page Leopard Owners Manual.
SeaQuester is set up as a ready-to-go world cruising yacht and as such there is more impressive hardware and equipment on board than you can imagine, with extensive spare parts for extended cruising. See the Inventory List.
