With her new g5 deck for the 2007 season the lovely Oyster 62 just got better. She shows good breeding, since there's clearly a family resemblance to the Oyster 56 and other models in the Oyster range created by Rob Humphreys and the Oyster Design Team. In a programme of continuous development, progress is inevitable and the 62, with her twin wheel configuration, takes cockpit space and ease of deck access to new level. Climbing over tall cockpit coamings is often an issue with yachts of this size but not so with the 62 as there is very easy, safe access from the stern deck. The 62 has suprised us in having an even more easily driven hull than we anticipated. Performance under ppower is excellent with 200-mile days in full cruising trim being the norm.
