Although production is currently focused on D1295 & 1495 models we are reluctant to give up one of our all time favourite boats. The 1195 in its legacy format is very well suited to those who are keen to own a Dazcat completed with their own finishing touches in their own way, which is why it’s currently available as a ‘structurally complete hull’. That is, we build the structure and you finish it. Find out more about 1195 'structurally complete hulls' and how the process works on our website.
The Dazcat 1195 cruising performance catamaran was developed from the successful D1150, to take its attributes of easy handling and exceptional performance and add a higher level of interior finish and increased headroom in the saloon; aiming it more at performance cruising than stripped down racing.
We can build to various stages of completion from bare hulls to seaworthy boat. Please ask for prices

Robust foam sandwich construction by world-renowned builder Multimarine Composites gives you the confidence to race and explore far from shore, with carbon reinforcements in the bridgedeck; this design offers more performance than any other cat of its class, without compromising safety or comfort of ride.
The Dazcat 1195 bridge deck racing/cruising catamaran is available in three formats; self build from a kit; some fit-out required; complete sailaway finished by Multimarine. The price depends on specifications so feel free to get in touch and see more in the Picture Gallery on our dazcat.co.uk website, or on YouTube.
Additional Information
Dazcats are built light; the benefits of a light boat are the reduction of rig size, loads, and wear and tear on lines and gear. It is also better for the helm and crew, as reduced sheet and halyard loads make the boat easier to control. The D1195 also has a lower beam to length ratio than other cats of its size, creating less windage and giving it exceptional performance, particularly up wind. The prototype was racing in the 2010 Round Britain and Ireland Race three weeks after launch and came 4th in its class.
The D1195 is not designed as a charter but as a boat that can be sailed by a family or group of friends who love the exhilaration of manoeuvering a fast, responsive boat. The benefits of a fast boat will allow them to enjoy a larger cruising ground and a wider choice of destinations, whether weekend sailing or long distance cruising. Passage times are reduced, less motoring is required and, even in the light winds of summer, the Dazcat 1195 will sail very well.
Comfort of ride is also important to us; increased speeds can make it bumpy so, as with most Dazcat designs, the weight is centralized, reducing pitching. This is achieved by raising the soles in the centre of the boat and fitting all tankage and systems underneath for the twin benefits of reducing wiring and keeping all the weight central and low down; until you sail a Dazcat you won’t know how much difference this makes. Once you have, you won’t want to go back.
