1937 Wheeler playmate12m

This is "AMIGO" Original Wheeler "Playmate" Built in 1937 Hull #1114 by Wheeler Shipyard Inc., Foot of Cropsey Ave., Brooklyn, NY.  She is single planked mahogany. NOT a spitting image, but the image! "Amigo" had been in refit mode for the last 10 years and has been back in the water now for over 1 year. Gas motors were replaced with twin Cummins diesels, new shafts and props and Original Rudders with hidden electronics and air conditioning. All wire runs are in copper tubing, New light fixtures throughout and Copper countertops and sinks. She's the last of the Real Wheelers a 1 of a kind!
