1957 Feadship 48 Sedan Sport Fisherman
“FEADSHIP” is all you have to hear to know what a quality built classic yacht that “SANDS OF TIME” is!
Built in Nieuwendam, Holland, she began her life as burgundy hull 48’ Sedan Sport Fisherman, (see original photo). In 1998 she underwent a major refit that included fiber glassing the hull from the rub rail down and installing a pair of 3126 CATS as well as a new 12KW ISUZU genset. The engines still only have approximately 350 hrs on them.
“SANDS OF TIME” is definitely a diamond in the rough! She has good bones and is in good running condition, all the interior is original FEADSHIP quality, she just needs someone that appreciates the quality of FEADSHIP to step and restore to her to the condition that she deserves!
Most of the interior is original including the fireplace, (it is not a working fire place anymore), the interior woodwork is something that needs to be seen to be appreciated.
There are some modern additions such as the drop down flat screen in the salon and the refrigerator and wine cooler in the galley, but mostly, she retains the charm that captured the world when introduced in 1957.
The original build sheet and original photo when commissioned is in the pictures below.
Take a look and see what a timeless classic that she is.
