1958 Chris Craft Constellation 35 ------ this vessel is absolutely immaculate in every way!!
Seneca is 35’ 1958 Chris Craft Constellation, an extraordinary example of this model and year. It was the modern Express Cruiser reborn, with sporty good looks, excellent speed and a large aft deck. Stunningly amazing wood work throughout that may be better than when the boat was new,. Propane stove/heater inside to keep the cold out on evening city cruises or overnighting onboard.
Originally purchased on Lake Union in 1958 by Eugene Christensen, she remained in the family for nearly 40 years before being acquired by Patrick Curry to be fully restored. In 1997 the vessel was completely restored to better than original condition. The original build records and details were obtained from The Mariners Museum in Newport News Virginia and these were used to help guide the restoration of the boat. The engines and all of the boats systems were removed from the boat. The interior was restored to original condition. All of the vessel’s wood, interior and exterior were refinished to original. The varnish work on the vessel was redone to the highest standards. All of the exterior hardware was removed, stripped and re-plated. The engines were completely rebuilt and a new electrical system was installed to preserve the original appearance of the vessel. Even the original engine gages were re-enameled to look new.
