Vortex est un bateau mythique des années 70 magnifiquement construit chez Abeking Rasmussen. Il a pour la petite histoire  participé à la 2ème édition de la Nioulargue en 1982 avec 29 autres partants et participa au 12 éditions suivantes. Conçu pour la course les aménagements intérieurs sont simples et efficaces mais le bateau offre des volumes remarquables. Pour régater le bateau est parfait et pour l'adapter à la croisière confortable il faudra envisager des aménagements. L'avantage est que le prochain propriétaire pourra réaliser les plans qui conviennent à son projet. Personnellement je suis séduit par la ligne de ce superbe bateau qui possède de nombreux atouts dont un pont neuf, une peinture neuve, de très nombreuses voiles et bien d'autres intérêts à découvrir.
Pour les régatiers qui désireraient participer à la Whitbread revival en 2023 Vortex est un bateau qui rentre totalement dans le règlement de cette course.
