This Camper Nicholson 35 is a serious cruiser as evidenced by her owners circumnavigating aboard. Artifacts from around the world provide decor that reflects global adventures. With her three quarter length keel, skeg hung rudder, and just a bit of exterior teak, she is a capable offshore cruising yacht that requires little external maintenance. The interior is roomy and functional, especially for a couple. The yacht demonstrates a sensible design and high quality construction, a practical and sea kindly way to sail anywhere in the world.
For 15 years, she has been stored on the hard in Oriental, NC. Her owners are professional captains who prepared her for storage impeccably. Covers over hatches, portals, teak rails, and more have kept the sun from crazing them. The engine will need a thorough inspection to know its condition. This is the perfect yacht for someone who would like a few projects now, and cruising for a week or a year in the near future.
Step down into the interior and find the galley to starboard, the nav station to port and the main saloon forward. Generous storage space includes a wet locker, a chart table, a drinks cupboard, bookshelf, behind the settee back rest, below the settee, and under the bunks.
The dinette has a folding table and also converts to a double berth. The back rest cushion on the forward end of the dinette lifts up and off, and fits the dinette footwell exactly to form a double berth. The settee to starboard also pulls out to form a berth. At the nav station, the bulkhead above the chart table has all navigational instruments. The main electric switch panel is there. The head is provided with hot and cold running water to the shower and sink to starboard. A storage cabinet is under the sink. To port are the manual sea toilet with storage outboard.
