Like the Baltic 37, the 39 was developed by Rob W. Ball, C & C Design Canada with deck and interior design by Baltic's own people. The design was aimed at general all-round sailing, intended to be easy to handle, seaworthy in all weather conditions and with performance for racing.
The Baltic has a comfortable interior, where a family can make nice trips, but also a larger racing crew can find enough sleeping space below decks. It is a proven good sailor and can compete well in offshore sailing races.
This Baltic 39 is very well maintained. Sails are of good quality, and the glued teak is in excellent condition. The underwater hull is a few years ago by the yard stripped and 7 layers of gel-shield provided, the hull, underwater hull and deck are painted in 2022.
The layout is with a double berth in the front cabin with adjacent toilet and then further to the rear the main cabin with behind the banks two additional berths, the navigation corner and on the other side the spacious galley and access to the aft cabin with a one and a half and a single berth.
Recent renovations:
- Paintwork, inside new varnished, hull and deck completely painted in 2022, anti osmosis treatment (2018)
