Four Points is a Canadian-built 1983 C&C Landfall center cockpit cruiser, sloop rig with sharp lines, rod rigging and a large sail area making for powerful and comfortable cruising. As a center-cockpit, her helm station is more forward, providing great security, exterior visibility and amazing interior room. She is solidly-built at 24,600 lbs. and a proven open ocean cruiser that has safely taken her owner more than 15,000 nautical miles on a multi-year journey to 29 countries over cruising grounds from southern California, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Florida waters plus many more miles of great coastal cruising in the local area.
For nearly 20 years, the current third owner of Four Points has enjoyed lasting memories aboard this vessel and has completed some recent upgrades, including a new Westerbeke engine, new main and head sails and stack pack, new interior upholstery for settee areas and LED cabin lights. Four Points is now looking forward to new adventures.
Four Points has abundant storage and space and would make an excellent long-term cruiser or liveaboard with two staterooms and two separate heads. She gets plenty of ventilation from two large and two medium hatches, sliding companionway hatches, six opening ports and dorades and she is built for days offshore with capacity for 61 gallons of fuel, two water tanks with 160 gallons capacity plus a reverse osmosis water maker for additional water and one 40-gallon holding tank.
Four Points is a nod to classical yacht designs. Her interior is graced with varnished teak and holly sole and the spacious salon is appointed with a functional U-shaped galley featuring a 3-burner gimballed stove and oven, hot and cold pressurized water system and 12 volt DC under-counter refrigeration. The salon also features plenty of storage space, U-shaped settee around a dining table that can convert to a double berth. There is an ample navigation area with opening chart table, a spacious forward stateroom with 7’2” v-berth and hanging locker and access to the forward head. The incredibly roomy aft stateroom features a 6’9” double centerline berth and private head, plenty of shelves, large hanging locker and two bureaus with drawers and doors.
Engine access can be obtained by removing stair/ladder access to both the aft stateroom and main salon as well as conveniently through a companionway area that the current owner has used as a workroom/storage area. This area can also be converted to a single sleeping berth. When not under sail, Four Points is powered by a 58 horsepower Westerbeke engine that replaced the original engine and was installed in 2019. She is also equipped with an array of house batteries and two additional starter batteries for the engine.
Not pictured is a custom stainless steel arch that is available for installing a bimini top over the cockpit. Four Points is currently home at Sunroad Resort & Marina and the slip may be transferrable upon application.
