Lynn Senour designed the Nordic Tug Hull for the pleasure boat cruising market. These boaters are looking for specific features in a boat that all start with the word "seaworthiness". This hull does everything well. The fine bow entry, very little bow flare, full length deep keel, deep forefoot and a not overly aggressive beam to length ratio like so many of today's boats. This allows Nordic Tugs to go through the water with very little effort in a manner similar to a displacement hull boat. These features along with a hard chine and semi flat aft section provide a ride that reduces roll, does not pound and keeps your fuel burn to a minimum. In addition the Nordic Tug has excellent sea keeping qualities in a following sea due to the beautiful round reverse transom that sheds water and provides superior strength to the boat.
