1986 Boston Whaler Guardian 227m

This is a very well kept 1986 22 Guardian powered by a 2006, 275hp Mercury Verado (approx.2000 hrs.). This is a totally freshwater boat that was ordered by the Coast Guard for Lake Erie (the boat is a yellow gel-coat boat but has been painted red).  USTow then bought it from the USCG and continued to use it on Lake Erie.  The current owner bought it last year from a former local owner  who who bought it from USTow 14 years ago and brought it to Lake Michigan.  The boat has many custom options and upgrades including a custom T-top and rails, new optima batteries, a Garmin 93SVechomap plus (2020), and BT stereo.  The motor has higher hours but has been meticulously maintained.  Recent upgrades/maintenance include-new 4 blade stainless prop., new fuel pump, new fuel lines and filter, new ignition coils, and lower unit rebuilt (2 seasons ago).
