The very comfortable Hunter 35 has a fantastic floorplan. Starting at the bow is the Forward Cabin with a large vee berth. It has a clever sink and vanity on the port side of the entry and on starboard a hanging locker. There is an additional storage cabinet over the berth. There is a large opening hatch, 3 overhead lights and a 12V fan that provide great ventilation and light.
Aft is the Main Saloon. There is an "L" shaped settee on port with cabinets and a shelf above while a straight settee is on starboard with a built-in entertainment center. The upgraded blue cushions are beautiful. This is a very light and airy cabin with 4 opening hatches and a large screened hatch, as well as 2 reading lights on the forward bulkhead.
The "L" shaped Galley aft on port with lots of counter space, a large round sink, refrigeration, microwave, and a 2-burner CNG stove.
Aft of the Galley is the private Aft Cabin with a combination cabinet/hanging locker at the entrance plus good standing room to dress. There are 2 opening ports and an overhead light. One piece, custom made, Tempur-Pedic mattress with fitted sheets presents comfort for those longer voyages, a far departure from the traditional foam cushions.
Across from the galley on starboard is the hull facing Nav Station and desk with a pull out chair. The Electric Panel is over the desk with easy reach to electronics, navigation displays, and stereo.
The Head is aft of the Nav with an opening port and an overhead light. It has a forward facing commode with a drop down shower seat. The sink is on the hull side with a shelf above and cabinet below. There is plenty of standing room for a luxurious shower.
You then step up the Companionway over the Engine Room into the very comfortable Cockpit for sailing or entertaining. There is a large wheel that can be tended from either side followed by a walk thru transom.
"Nightswimming" sleeps 2 couples in privacy and an additional adult in the saloon.
The Legend 35 is very comfortable for day sailing and long distance cruising. She is also setup and equipped for competitive racing where she has won many singlehanded (solo) trophies.
