Still a popular boat in resale markets, the Topaz 37 Sportfisherman is a reworked version of the popular Topaz 36 SF with additional fuel, increased bow flare, and a slightly larger interior.

-No lightweight, she’s built of solid fiberglass on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam and low free-board aft.

-Offshore, the 37 has a reputation for possessing a solid ride and good handling characteristics. The cockpit is a bi-level arrangement with the engines located forward, beneath the raised bridge deck. (Access to the engines is much improved from the Topaz 36.)

-The open helm provides good visibility, and there’s room on the console for flush mounting any electronics not fitted in an overhead cabinet.

-Below deck, the cabin is set up to sleep four and includes a U-shaped dinette, complete galley, and a separate stall shower in the head.
