A popular boat in resale markets, the Topaz 37 Sportfisherman is a reworked version of the popular Topaz 36 SF with additional fuel. increased bow flare, and a slightly larger interior.  No lightweight, she's built of solid fiberglass on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam and low freeboard aft.  Off shore, the 37 has a reputation for possessing a solid ride and good handling characteristics. The cockpit is a bi-level arrangement with the engines located forward, beneath the raised bridge deck. (Access to the engines is much improved from the Topaz 36)  The open helm provides good visibility, and there's room on the console for lush mounting any electronics not fitted in an overhead cabinet.  Below decks the cabin is set up to sleep four and includes a U-shaped dinette, complete galley, and a separate stall shower in the head.  Additional features include an in-deck fish fish box, excellent cockpit storage, a transom door, and wide side decks.  With 375 hp Cat diesels, she cruises at 21-25 knots.
