The Pacific Seacraft 31 is a capable, proven offshore cruiser with legendary quality and construction. Pacific Dream is in excellent condition inside and out, and loaded with options and upgrades. Optional cutter rig with staysail. The original main, jib, and staysail are in very good condition, plus there are reportedly 3 new sails never used in storage. There is a lifting arm for an outboard motor. Many of the control lines are led aft for easy handling by just one or two persons. The side decks are wide and easy to move around even while sailing. The exterior hull sides, decks, and gel coat appear much newer than the actual age of the vessel.
There are lots of extra parts and spares included, see the pictures of the plastic bins filled with parts. There is a CQR plow anchor, a Bruce anchor, and a Danforth anchor, each with line and chain rodes. And everything is in remarkable condition.
The brilliant design of the interior makes for a highly versatile and efficient layout. The salon table instantly folds out of the way and slides under the V berth, to allow full use of the salon area. The large aft quarter berth also doubles as a huge storage space for sails or extra cruising gear. The solid bronze ports are covered by custom made rolling blinds for easy control of light and air to the cabin. see the pictures for details. All of the interior fabrics, cushions, and headliner look nearly new.
The large dodger and leecloths protect the cockpit from wind and spray. Plus there is a complete canvas bimini with sides all the way down to deck level so you can completely seal off the cockpit and extend the livable space to include the whole aft end of the boat.
The reliable Yanmar 3GM diesel has only 1824 hours, and has just been serviced. The lower section of the ladder folds away allowing easy access to work on the engine. The engine room and sump are clean, dry and no visible leaks.
There are two folding solar panels with custom covers, brand new batteries were just installed, and there is a newer inverter / charger to power AC appliances while sailing or anchored.
