Timbuctoo is a voluminous, 75ft custom motorsailer, with huge accommodations for the world-wide cruiser. Features include an enormous Owner’s Cabin with a four-poster bed, side couch, and en suite bathroom with full walk-in shower, and an over-sized galley with a triple sink (including garbage disposal), dishwasher, and counter with bar seating. Dining takes place at a large wooden table with an L shaped couch adjacent to the galley, which is separated from the upward lounging area with almost panoramic views. The helmsman can pilot the boat from a choice of two locations: the large aft cockpit has an electronics compliment and is covered by a fixed fiberglass Bimini; inside the pilothouse, the helmsman has excellent visibility and can command the yacht with the benefit of both electronics and an immense wooden chart table with an in-built drink refrigerator.
Timbuctoo was custom built with the clear craftsmanship of a skilled carpenter, which flows throughout the boat, and gives the yacht wonderful character and ambiance.
This yacht is an Aladdin's Cave of treasures and ready for the new owner to explore. It is clear that Timbuctoo has previously been kitted out for long distance, liveaboard cruising, and this would be many an owner's dream boat. Unfortunately, Timbuctoo is an estate sale, and is being sold after the previous owner experienced a long period of ill-health and was unable to use and maintain the yacht as was hoped. Timbuctoo does not have an owner who is familiar with the systems onboard or their functionality / condition, and this is an "as is" sale, priced for a quick completion. In 2015, the boat had an appraised value of $575,000. Timbuctoo needs a new owner who is ready to tinker and explore this fantastic yacht and bring her back to her former glory, with an eye to adventure!

The pilothouse is entered by stepping down from the aft cockpit. Immediately forward is an extensive wooden chart table with dedicated courtesy flag storage, an in-built beverage refrigerator, and additional storage below. To the port side is a sink with underneath storage, and to the starboard is an L shaped wraparound couch and TV. Two removable wooden tables can be used for drinks and nibbles while seated on the couch.
Immediately forward is the helm, electronics, and electrical panels / switches. Electronics include chart plotter, VHF, windspeed & direction, and compass. An SSB radio is mounted adjacent to the chart table. The electronics have been powered up, but not checked for full functionality.

Timbuctoo features a triple sink and garbage disposal, fridge and freezer unit, microwave, oven and triple burner stove, dishwasher, and significant storage. Additional storage is found under the steps. There is a large, hidden and cooled ice box on the starboard side adjacent to the couch. Opposite the first guest cabin is a laundry room with separate washer and dryer (function of these is not known) and a sink with additional storage.
V Berth Guest Cabin
A second V berth guest cabin includes two very large twin berths, with portlights, fans, and lights.
Within this guest room is an access hatch to the anchor locker, and additional systems storage, tastefully hidden behind a wooden circulate hatch panel.

The size and layout of the Owner’s Cabin is delightful. Situated immediately below the pilothouse, the Owner’s Cabin features a four poster walkaround, centerline Queen bed with side tables, a side couch, a vanity table with pull out stool, a writer’s table, and an additional upholstered seat and lamp. The owner’s storage is incredible, with hanging lockers, drawers, and cabinets, made of carefully crafted woodwork.
The owners also benefit from an en suite with large sink and storage, separate towel rails, mirror, and a massive walk-in shower with built in seat and rail.
Behind a hidden panel is access to the dinghy and system’s garage, and an escape route through the fold-down transom.

The large cockpit has a dedicated helmsman’s seat with full electronics compliment, and lines led aft for ease of sailing. Guests enjoy the option of port and starboard seating with tables, shaded by the large fiberglass fixed bimini top.
