Blue Star was built in 1993 with a steel hull and superstructure by Keith Marine in Palatka Florida. Keith Marine was well known for constructing large steel commercial vessels and later became known as Newcastle Marine. Blue Star has recently gone through extensive updates and service and is just completing her ABS survey. This yacht features 5 staterooms accommodating 11 guests and 9 crew, has transatlantic range and offers large volume for extensive cruising.
Upon entry from the starboard side main double doors, the main saloon is to the left and aft or the foyer. Natural light enters from windows on both port, starboard, and aft walls. The saloon features decorative inlay mahogany flooring, built in curio cabinetry, game table with seating for four, Yamaha self playing piano, 2 L-shaped sofas, 2 coffee tables, and 2 arm chairs. A 65" Samsung 4k TV retracts from the ceiling and is easily stowed leaving space for prized artwork to be displayed during more formal gatherings. Design is classic English and was completed by Nicholson Interiors of the UK in Southhampton.
Entering the master suite from the foyer, you first enter a private and nicely appointed owners study/office finished with mahogany that is raised and fielded with beeswing veneer. The office features an executive English Tudor style desk with leather inlay along with a built in chaise lounge inboard. Continue forward to a full beam master stateroom with king bed facing aft, sugar Maplewood with built in wardrobe bureaus on both port and starboard, full walk in closet, make-up station with chair and mirror, 42" Phillips wall mounted TV with surround sound, vaulted ceiling with maple crown molding and Maglite headliner. The head is opposite the office to port and features decorative marble flooring, marble countertop with dual sinks and mirrored vanity, stand up marble shower, jacuzzi tub, bidet and head.
On the guest deck there are 4 staterooms consisting of 1 x twin with Pullman, 2x twin cabins and 1 VIP with queen double. The VIP and Starboard aft are finished in Mahogany with the forward guest cabins in sugar Maplewood. There is pass through crew access for discrete bed and laundry service. Each cabin has en suite heads with tub and shower.
Amidships on the main deck and with easy access to the galley, the formal dining room is prepared with seating for 12 guests. Featuring a large rectangular table and upholstered chairs, the room is finished with decorative mahogany flooring and built in curio cabinetry. The woodwork is in superior condition and was completed at the highest levels of craftsmanship. Blue Star comes with a large inventory of table settings, flatware and crystal glassware.

Nicely equip and updated since build, the galley features stainless counters for easy cleanup and sanitary operation, Wolf oven, steam oven and cooktop, Cospolich 5 door refrigerator, Miele G7856 professional dishwasher and Panasonic microwave
From the cockpit on the stern, there is a central stairway that walks up 2 levels to the bridge deck. This level provides accommodations for both indoor and outdoor entertainment as well as the pilot house and captains quarters. Starting on the aft bridge deck, there is a large outdoor dining table to starboard and built in bench lounge seating to port with outdoor AV equipment and a service bar to entertain. This outdoor lounging and dining area can be closed off by isinglass enclosures which keep the guests comfortable from the elements. There are full walk around teak decks on either side of the bridge deck which take you to another guest seating and sun pad area forward of the bridge. This forward area was truly ahead of it's time in design and is now a standard feature on many modern yachts. The sky lounge features a 55" Samsung TV with surround sound, Blu-ray and Apple TV, decorative mahogany flooring with lacewood walls and built in cabinetry, a game table for 4 to starboard, couch, love seat and 2 arm chars with coffee table for more casual lounging. As you walk forward through the atrium, descend down a spiral stairway mid-ship, or deadhead to port.
The sundeck offers private seating with oversized sunpad for soaking in the sun or lounging around. Teak decks are in serviceable condition and recently sanded. In the center is a room composed of the base of the mast which was previously used as storage for fishing and dive gear, but could be repurposed as a spa, massage room or bar. Sundeck has a 2000 lb Davit to raise and store water toys and a rescue tender.
