With this sailing yacht you can have it all: a very seaworthy, strong and fast yacht and a competitive racer. With her powerful rig, light weight, excellent hull shape and balanced rudder, she is a joy to sail. Enjoy a great stay on board, thanks to her stability, interior space, comfortable cockpit and huge deck/trampoline area. Her clean lines and graceful movements under sail make her a real eye-catcher. She has crossed many oceans and is now on the market for the next owner to enjoy.
Some important features: strong and seaworthy design with comfortable and safe sea behavior, professionally built by a renowned Dutch yard (owners finished her) in epoxy sandwich construction, lots of watertight bulkheads in all hulls, carbon mast and boom, top quality equipment, carefully maintained and ready to go anywhere. Enjoy the beautiful cruising grounds of New Zealand and the South Pacific or sail her to whatever destination you think of; or choose delivery to your favorite cruising grounds (by current owners, depending on schedule).
Accommodation: More than you would expect given her sleek lines: headroom in living room, L-shaped sofa with table, separate large chart table, large galley, sleeps 6 (2 double, 2 single), heating, fridge, toilet and plenty of storage.
Cockpit: tiller steering with three possible steering positions (sheltered or with tiller extension on cockpit edge or with long extension on aft beam), 2 seats, ergonomically shaped cockpit benches with separate gas bunker and lots of storage. All lines lead back to the cockpit, but they can all be easily stowed out of the way, so no spaghetti. Behind the rear beam there are 3 storage compartments for gasoline, gas cylinders, swim ladder etc. The outboard motor slides forward on rails, so when sailing it is out of the salt spray and does not protrude behind the transom.
Rigging; Carbon mast and boom, kevlar and rod rigging
Floats: lots of watertight compartments and lots of storage (fenders, lines, emergency rudder, emergency tiller, etc.)
Hull shape. The main hull is very slender at the waterline, reducing drag. The bow section is a 'rounded V-shape', to minimize hitting in waves. Rear section is quite flat to improve sailing. Rocker is as minimal as possible to reduce drag in the aft section. Floats are narrow for minimum drag and V-shaped to reduce hitting in waves and have maximum waterline length while sailing. Because the center of buoyancy of the floats is much more forward than that of the main hull, she does not dig into her bow and is therefore very safe to sail. The buoyancy of floats is about 120% of the total weight. With these hull shapes it is a very safe boat to sail, comfortable at sea and fast.
