1999 Island Packet 350
"Brigand" (first commissioned in 2000) is an extremely well-maintained example of the Island Packet 350 which is the culmination of Island Packet’s mid-thirty designs. She has the hallmark hull, rudder and keel configuration as well as the cutter rig; improved sail handling equipment including furling main, furling staysail on a Hoyt boom and a full furling genoa, she is one of IP’s best sailing models and easily handled by one person.
Well laid out deck with wide side walkways, full length cabin top handrails, double lifelines and slip-resistant decks. Cockpit features raised helmsperson seat, full length contour seats, a swim platform,built-in insulated cooler, large seat lockers, hand held shower, two great stern rail seats and a pedestal mounted folding table. Galley has lots of usable space, a huge refrigerator, lots of dry storage, double sinks and safety-type LPG range c/w oven.
The boat has a large central main salon with beautiful cabinetry and joiner work in select teak, nice fabric, lots of light fixtures and hand rails, numerous opening ports, deck vents and hatches, and a great nav station. Both forward and aft stateroom are very spacious and the head has two doors with access to both the forward cabin and salon.
"Brigand" has spent the majority of her life on the east coast of Canada which gives a great but short sailing season when compared to other locations; therefore, her sails and inventory are in exceptional condition.
For your sailing comfort, this boat is equipped with diesel furnace, upgraded electronics MFD with AIS receive and radar, bimini top, full cockpit enclosure (never used) and Kato davits for the Zodiac rigid bottom dingy and Honda 2 HP outboard.
