The boat is currently lying at Tellico Marina in Maryville, Tennessee. The CAT has many upgrades and features that make cruising and enjoying the solitude of being on the hook a luxury not a drudgery. We have cruised continually since 2012 and the boat is continually maintained, cared for and upgraded properly. The cockpit area was redesigned adding solid corners to give the area a more finished look. The upgraded expanded helm with duel touchscreen chart plotters - Garmin and Simrad make navigating more straightforward with two different sets of charts. The class B AIS with transmit and receiving properties assures awareness. Sirius weather can be viewed on a full or split screen so weather data is always convenient. The duel command mikes makes communication for captain or mate very handy. Lights have been replaced with leds for less power consumption together with multiple 12 volt plugs throughout. The Cruise RO Water Maker is capable of 40 gallons of fresh water per hour insuring ample water when at anchor. The unique layout of the starboard stateroom provides a queen bed, hanging locker, three large drawers and three long bookshelves for odds and ends. The adjacent full head with separate shower provides comfortable private access for guests. Having friends and family aboard, even for extended periods of time, is easy and enjoyable. The port stateroom off the galley is a great place for an afternoon nap. Adjacent to the galley this room is ideal for tote storage of bulk items. Three long shelves provide additional storage of food items when provisioning for extended travel. Desk drawers, cabinet storage and ice machine complete this room. The master stateroom queen bed is accessible from both sides with nightstand storage and a large hanging closet. The bed lifts from either side with full access to a vast amount of deep storage. Starboard side contains master head, plenty of shelves for towels and toiletries, a large walk in shower and complete privacy. The port side dressing area has the Spendide washer/dryer with ample hanging area, shelves, and six more large drawers for clothes storage. The salon has plenty of seating, movable table, liquor cabinet, Fusion sound system, watermaker controls, central vac, Vitrifrigo freezer with three separate compartments, tv is acquired through KVH M5 trac vision or HD antenna for local tv. The electrical panel, battery and solar gauges, water, fuel and power consumption is easily viewed from the salon. Six AGM batteries with storage of 1200 amp hours, and an Outback controller assures that the updated solar panels - four at 250 watt - will provide plenty of power and comfort when on the hook. At dock, boat side power connectors have been replaced with Smart Plugs assuring a more secure connection and a Magnum 3000 Pure Sine Wave Inverter/Charger provides power for electrical appliances. Engines are under guest beds and the bed lifts easily for access. Engine checks when underway are completed easily and safely with no need to remove floor panels or climb into an engine room. At factory the alternators were replaced with Balmar 100’s and the 80’s rebuilt for spares. Exhaust elbows were also replaced. All thru hulls were moved from bottom of hull to hull sides for more protection and all strainers were replaced with Perko brand. Engine and generator have reverso oil change systems. Generator has new injectors and heat exchanger. Used injectors were rebuilt for spares. Duel racors on each engine with vacuum gauges are easily accessed under steps entering cockpit so if there is ever a fuel issue the filters can be switched quickly and safely. The back deck has been refitted with two storage lockers, a solid counter with gas grill and extra 12 volt and 110 plugs for outside cooking. The 10.5 Caribe dinghy has a steering console, 20 hp Honda, and chaps to protect the tubes from sun. The two forward hatches house extra fenders, more lines and snubbers, chain locker, freshwater wash down, chairs, water toys, fender boards, extra oil for engine, and a plethora of “stuff”. Anchor was upgraded to 73 lb Rocna and 200 feet of new 5/16 chain in 2020. Wide walkways on both sides of boat with solid stainless steel railings make the boat safe and accessible. Boat sides were buffed and waxed and new bottom paint in June 2021. Boat is equipped with numerous spare pumps, seals, filters, replacement parts, too many to mention.
