The Zodiac Hurricane H733 IO RIB is part of the Hurricane range of RIBS that are mission specific and are used by the most discriminating operators who demand the utmost in ruggedness and reliability. All Hurricane models have removable collars for ease of maintenance as well as the capability of interchanging with Durarib foam collars.

The Zodiac Hurricane 733 MID IO Commando is used as a shipboard boat for a variety of missions including search and rescue, law enforcement and force protection. The integral stainless steel hoisting fittings include 4 leg sling and polyester webbing legs, galvanised proof loaded shackles and stainless steel master link.

The deep V fibreglass (FRP / GRP) hull and 5 chamber inflatable collar combined with self righting and jockey style seating; provides the seaworthiness, shock mitigation, stability and manoeuvrability required to operate reliably and effectively in a hostile maritime environment. The ruggedised hull and collar construction and highly responsive diesel engine with outdrive propulsion system allows the Hurricane 733 to be safely launched and recovered in high sea states.

The Hurricane 733 MID IO has a combined console / engine cover with windshield and wraparound handrail plus fibreglass bow storage box. The RIB has manual and electric bilge pumps plus high capacity deck drains fitted with scupper trunks. The fuel tank is rotomolded polyethylene with fuel gauge and fuel / water separators. Electrics include navigation lights in accordance with COLREGS, electric horn and compass.
