A great long-range cruiser, the 52 is a “flush-deck” design that yields amazing interior accommodations for her length. The owner’s stateroom aft has 3,5 meters of closets for comfortable live-aboard cruisers. A second stateroom in the bow will accommodate two more in stacked bunks. Two cabins are making the 52 a very comfortable boat for two couples. Run this boat from either the pilothouse or the enormous bridge. The boat deck will carry a tender up to 4.5 meters in length. With water at 1300 liters and fuel at 4200, this one will easily do 1200 miles between fuel stops. And you will be amazed at the 1.9 meters headroom in the engine room. Built by the CTF yard in Taiwan, primarily from 1980 to 1991, some versions were factory-built in later years with an extended hull for a cockpit.

POCTA, or “Pacific Ocean Countries Trading Association”, is a Taiwan based company with a boat building history that spans several decades. POCTA's name is synonymous with DeFever Yachts, and POCTA's exclusive relationship with Arthur DeFever over many years has resulted in a proud heritage. These beautiful trawlers and motor yachts that bear the DeFever name are the only product produced at the POCTA shipyard. The management and employees of POCTA are dedicated exclusively to the production of DeFever Yachts, and not to a variety of sub-contracted boat designs, as is often the case with Asian boat builders. Over ten years ago, POCTA moved its manufacturing facilities to mainland China , to the city of Suzhou , just west of Shanghai . Now long and well established on the mainland, POCTA is far ahead of many boat builders who have only recently begun to produce boats in China and elsewhere in Asia . 

POCTA builds exclusively DeFever Yachts and not a variety of sub contracted boat designs as is often the case with Asian boat builders. POCTA's shipyard is one of the largest boat building facilities in mainland China, complete with fully enclosed building arenas and a test tank, where each vessel is launched and checked before shipment. More than  one hundred experienced craftsmen and engineers combine their skills to produce each distinctive DeFever Yacht.

 About the DeFever 52 Euro

The pilothouse, Portuguese bridge and molded Euro transom with swim platform are trademark DeFever designs. Visibility is excellent ahead and abeam. Access to port and starboard side decks and the flybridge is provided, while spiral stairs lead to accommodations below. The expansive flybridge can accommodate a large dinghy with davit. A raised L-shaped settee with abundant storage below, cocktail table, and wet bar with icemaker are positioned near the helm station, with space available for two helm seats. The large aft deck, with spacious lazarette and engine room access, may be enclosed to provide even more relaxing living space in inclement weather.

The boat is for sale from the discrict court of Stocholm, Sweden on the behalf of sellers. The boat will be sale in “as is /where is” basis condition. This means that it is being sold in its current condition, whatever this condition happens to be. The boat is located on dry dock at Albatros Marina, Marmaris, Turkey. The pottential buyers has chance to see and inspect the boat on the land before giving any offers.
