Every truly exceptional sailboat has three elements in common. One is a great builder,  the second a gifted designer and the third is the designer drawing something special.  The Sunday cat shares those three attributes. Com-Pac is known for their high build quality and safety designed in from the start. Clark Mills designed the Optimist Pram which has probably introduced more people to sailing than any other boat.  When Mills designed the Sunday Cat he drew inspiration from Catboats common in Cape Cod and New England.  There are many positive aspects to these boats, shoal draft, ease of handling and perfect for short handed sailing should the need arise. The Sunday Cat has a very large cockpit for daysailing and an enclosed short cabin to use the head in private.  The boat comes with Com Pac's unique Mastender system which makes raising the mast both a single person job and one easily accomplished.  Com Pac's command high resale value and represent a lot of fun on the water in a great economical day sailor.
