I bought this 34’ Mirage in 2014 with the idea of fishing ever more distant grounds.  We first powered with twin Suzuki 300s which were more than adequate but after watching the new 350 duo-prop model for a couple of years, we pulled the trigger and swapped out the 300s for 350s.  Real world performance numbers are: 4000rpms is 31 to 37 mph depending on sea conditions getting 1.3 to 1.6mpg.  The 350s are almost exactly 10% more efficient than the 300s.  The custom pipework on the hard top is designed to pass a 6’2” angler but still stay under 12’6” while towing.  The open array radar folds down for even more clearance.  Fuel capacity is 330 gallons.  The boat can carry up to 90 gallons of fresh water making a saltwater washdown unnecessary.  If you are looking at these hulls, you know many of the diesel models have been repowered with outboards….this hull was designed from the ground up for outboard power and has a large and deep cockpit.  I use the space under the cockpit hatch to store six beanbags.  The transom mounted baitwell is 50+ gallons with a 3500gph pump….it is so well insulated that it can serve as a fish box or cooler if you are not using live bait.  The front mounted coffin box is cavernous, I have used it for fresh ice to keep the fish boxes cold.

 This is a go anywhere, do most anything boat that looks good and performs well.  It sits on a custom Boatmaster commercial trailer with fresh tires, bearings and brake pads.
